Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star has impressive online presence

The young golfer will have numerous high-profile supporters when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa practically suggested to go out there and relax," she continued.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

As an amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments this year and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He is the best player in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in the sport at this tournament, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, particularly with younger fans.

The young star boasts millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
